Volvic is on a mission to help more girls get into rugby and inspire them to awaken their inner force. This fund will support programmes, coaching, and resources to break down barriers and support more girls across the nation to discover the strength, confidence, and community that rugby brings.
That’s why we’re offering nominated UK rugby clubs with existing female teams or new female-led initiatives the chance to win one of 8 grants worth up to £5,000.
Bonus Prize: The rugby club with the best submission and highest number of votes will receive a bonus prize of rugby merchandise, and a visit from England rugby star, Natasha Hunt!
Channelling the volcanic force from Volvic’s roots to the unstoppable forces of nature from the players on the pitch, help us support these incredible initiatives and the growth of women’s rugby!
How are entries & votes judged?
All entries are first reviewed by an independent expert panel to confirm eligibility and legitimacy.
Your club will then be scored on the following:
1.
Quality of your club submission will count for 80% of your overall score. To earn higher marks, you should:
i.
Show a clear plan for how you’ll use the grant,
ii.
Explain how it will increase participation and/or develop skills in women’s rugby,
iii.
Show creativity in how you’ll overcome barriers to women’s participation,
iv.
Highlight how your initiative will promote inclusivity and wider community impact.
2.
Public support (Votes) for your club will count for 20% of your overall score - so rally your community to vote after submitting your application!

1. Must be an independent female-supporting rugby clubs and members of the Rugby Football Union (RFU). Unfortunately, school-affiliated or private education teams are not eligible.
